****CHANGES TO COMMUNITY LEAGUE MEMBERSHIPS****
SWAT will not be selling community league membership cards.
On April 19, 2010 the General Membership for the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues voted in favor of the following recommendation: "That the Edmonton Minor Hockey Association be granted the right to sell $25.00 "Corporate Rate Fee" to all of it minor hockey players, during hockey registrations." Therefore, all families of SWAT Hockey will pay an additional $25.00 in lieu of purchasing their community league memberships at time of registration (Chq made payable to SWAT Hockey).
DEFINITION: EFCL CORPORATE FEE.
The Corporate Rate Fee is a special standardized rate of $25.00 for any Community League Family Membership when sold through the Edmonton Minor Hockey Association (hereafter referred to as EMHA). This rate is available only to Hockey Registrants. The fee amount was based on the average fee of Community League Memberships across the city. See efcl.org / News for more information.
Fees will be collected from families up until hockey registration ends in early January, this year being January 10, 2011.
For any questions on how to obtain your community league card and skate tags you must contact the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues at http://www.efcl.org/. SWAT Hockey will not be giving out or selling any community league membership cards or skate tags.
What About Player Evaluations in the Fall?
Your category director will contact you in early September regarding SWAT evaluations. Players can expect to be on the ice some time during the second or third weekends of September.
